Gang Huang, male, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Core Researcher (Grade II) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), Head of the Monsoon and Sea Air Team at LASG State Key Laboratory, Ph.D. Supervisor,He received his PhD degree from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in September 1999. He is a member of the Committee on Dynamical Meteorology of the Chinese Meteorological Society, a member of the Standing Editorial Board of Atmospheric Sciences, a member of the Editorial Board of Meteorological Journal, Climate and Environment Research, and Chinese Scientific Data; and a member of the Editorial Board of SCI journals AAS, PeerJ, Frontiers in Earth Science, and Advances in Meteorolog. He also serves as an editorial board member of SCI journals AAS, PeerJ, Frontiers in Earth Science, and guest editorial board member of Advances in Meteorolog, Sustainability, Atmosphere. He is also a member of CNC-WCRP (Chinese Climate Research Committee) and an adjunct professor and supervisor of PhD or MSc students at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing University of Information Engineering, Hohai University, Chengdu University of Information Engineering, etc. He is also an invited professor of postgraduate courses at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Up to now, he has published 260 articles (including 183 SCI, 63 CSCD, 14 book chapters) with a total SCI impact factor of 1180; including 23 articles in Top journals (impact factor >9) (1 article in PNAS, 3 articles in Nature Climate Change, 2 articles in Science Advances, 2 articles in Nature Geoscience 3, Nature Communications 2, Annual Review of Earth and Planetary Sciences 1, NPJ 1). 8034 SCI citations, 9,981 Google citations, H-index 48.
